Caltex is a petroleum brand name of Chevron Corporation used in more than 60 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. We worked on several campaigns and exciting projects for Caltex, everything from pump toppers and in-store promotions to their sponsorship of the Kuala Lumpur Duck Race, organised in conjunction with New Straits Times.

The charity race saw 80,000 rubber ducks ‘swimming’ 1.5km down the Sungai Gombak from Merdeka Square, taking around 45 minutes. Participants adopted a duck for RM18, of which RM10 went to charities, with a cash prize for the owner of the winning duck. The impressive RM800,000 raised was distributed to 10 charities and the campaign was so successful we repeated it the following year.
